Winnipeg · centre guideTCF and TEF Canada in Winnipeg
In Winnipeg, Alliance Française du Manitoba at 934 Corydon Avenue runs both the TCF Canada and the TEF Canada. The centre caps how many candidates each session takes, and at the time we checked every published TCF and TEF date was marked sold out with new dates still to be announced. Booking means completing the centre's registration form and settling payment with them, and the centre states plainly that no refund and no deferment is possible once you are registered.

From the centre's official information. Written in our own words, never republished.
Sessions are capped and they do sell out. The centre states that the number of candidates per session is limited, and at our last check every published TCF and TEF date was marked sold out, with a note that new dates will be announced.
Booking goes through a form rather than a live calendar. You complete the centre's TCF or TEF registration form, then either phone the centre during opening hours to pay or pay online, and your registration is only complete once the payment lands and the centre emails you your exam date.
Reading, listening and writing are on computer, and the speaking test is in person with an assessor. The TCF Canada runs about two hours and 47 minutes in total: listening of 35 minutes, reading of 60 minutes, writing of 60 minutes, and a 12 minute speaking test.
Plan for a four week wait and no way to move your date. Results are emailed within about four weeks, TEF certificates come from Paris, and the centre states that no refund or deferment is possible, including for weather or personal reasons.
