In Kelowna, the TEF Canada is run by the Centre culturel francophone de l'Okanagan (CCFO) at 702 Bernard Avenue, listed at $380 for the full four-module exam. There is no TCF Canada centre in Kelowna or anywhere else in the Okanagan, so for the TCF you need Vancouver or Victoria. The CCFO publishes a handful of dated sittings at a time: at our check on 29 September 2026 it listed four, on 23 and 30 October and 3 and 6 November, and two of them were already sold out.

Sittings are few, so watch the page. The CCFO lists each TEF Canada date as its own product, and at our check on 29 September 2026 there were four fall sittings: 23 October and 6 November were out of stock, and 30 October and 3 November had only a few seats left. The page shows three dates and hides the rest behind a Show More button, so open it before you decide a month is full.
Booking takes two steps and a few days. You buy the seat online, then complete the registration form, and the centre processes every registration by hand, so allow at least three business days for your confirmation. Your exam schedule is sent at least 10 days before the test.
Plan for a full day at 702 Bernard Avenue. Listening, reading and writing are done on computer and the speaking test is in person. The day generally runs from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the doors open at 8:55 a.m.
Payment is final. The CCFO gives no refunds and does not move exam dates, and a medical deferral is possible only with the approval of CCI Paris, which runs the TEF. It offers the full four-module TEF Canada only: you can ask to skip two modules, but you still pay the full fee.
Leave 21 days between two tests here. The official TEF rule from Le français des affaires is a 20-day minimum between two sittings, but the CCFO asks for a 21-day break and will not move your date or refund you if a booking breaks it.
Results are digital. The CCFO says your TEF Canada certificate arrives in digital format within 1 to 10 business days, with no paper copy to wait for, and it is valid for two years.
How to book the TEF exam in Kelowna

Make sure the TEF Canada is the test you need. IRCC accepts it for Express Entry and citizenship, and it is the only one of the two Canadian exams you can take in Kelowna. For the TCF Canada, look at Vancouver or Victoria.

Open the TEF page on the CCFO site and press Show More to see every date. Each sitting is listed at $380, and a sold out date is marked Out of Stock.

Buy your seat, then complete the registration form. Registrations are processed by hand, so wait at least three business days for your confirmation before you plan around the date.

If you have sat the TEF recently, count 21 days from that sitting. The CCFO will not move your date or refund you if your booking breaks its 21-day break.

If nothing is open, join the CCFO mailing list to hear about new dates, or look at Vancouver and Victoria, where Alliance Française runs both the TCF Canada and the TEF Canada.

How much does the TEF Canada cost in Kelowna?
The CCFO lists the TEF Canada at $380 for the full four-module exam. It does not give refunds or change exam dates once you have paid, and asking to skip two modules does not lower the fee, so confirm the exam and the current price before you buy.
Can I take the TCF Canada in Kelowna?
No. France Éducation international's list of TCF centres in Canada has no centre in Kelowna or anywhere else in the Okanagan. The nearest TCF Canada centres are in the Vancouver area, in Vancouver and New Westminster, and in Victoria. IRCC accepts the TEF Canada just the same for Express Entry and citizenship.
When are the next TEF Canada dates in Kelowna?
